...its the morons that started paying 100k+ for weapon mods.
Probably, right after they finished buying a thousand plat from a chinese farm shop on ebay....

I don't understand how people can argue that this won't negatively impact the game world. It's like arguing that counterfeiting money should be okay because it doesn't devalue anything when that's clearly not the case.

Yes, the entire gameworld is a giant counterfeit machine, but it's also simultaneously a money sink: money paid to merchants just vanishes, money is not transferred to kin when someone "dies" (abandons their account, is banned), etc. So, while it may not be a balanced and highly stable economy, it certainly can be negatively impacted by massive influxes of artificially created wealth.

Farming is one thing: you're actively creating wealth for yourself by working. Buying farmed gold and items through a real-money "black market" is completely different. From the perspective of the game's economy, it's as if you've just suddenly come into 250k gold that didn't exist anywhere in the universe until just now.

Depends on the bot program they are using. Some accept invites automatically, why I'll never know since that screws your drops. Also most of them are not bots, most of them are indeed real farmers who work for the thirdparty distributors of gold and items. So there you go. Generally the "Chinese", I put that in quotes because they aren't all Chinese, farmers will run you along for leveling purposes if you let them have the drops.

I Acctually Had Fun With This I Kept adding bots for the free pwr leveling and everytime they ran into the trolls i gave em an extra 146 health with one of the ench and theyd just die, afterwords theyd just stand beside the ressurection for bout hal an hour at the longest when i didnt get bored, so yah id say defindetly a bot

I'll bet it's so the farmers can run them through the game quickly, without controlling multiple cpus.
